Purchasing Staff
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase requisitions, order and contracts in a timely and accurate manner
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate terms and monitor order status
- Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to ensure availability of materials
- Support the onboarding of new suppliers and the management of the supplier database
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of suppliers based on quality, cost and delivery
performance - Provide administrative support to the purchasing team as needed
- Provide periodic report to related stakeholders regarding foreign purchase plan and/or actual
purchase
Job Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing,
transportation or logistics - Fluency in Mandarin
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Good numerical and analytical skills to manage inventory,budgets and supplier performance
- Proficient in the use of MS office applications, particulary Excel
- A collaborative team player with a proactive and problem solving mindset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
